Who are your heroes?
Sigmund Freud, HAL 9000, and myself.

One of your most famous works, "Something to Talk About", is a well known song of love. Does it also have a more deep meaning?
Maybe! It's also my uplifting song for when I have to call the IRS.

Bonnie, if I may ask, how do you invest the money you made in your career?
Take note: when parachute pants will be in vogue again I'll have the last laugh.

Do you know any good hangover cures?
O.K.! Here it is my instant remedy. In case of need mix two parts of fernet, three parts of fruit drink and some vinaigrette. Drink the resulting potion every 10 minutes for 4 hours.

What's your favorite vice?
I fake interest when people talk to me, but I do it sloppily, so they realize it. See, perhaps you are going to criticize me for that, but another vice of mine is I don't give a shit.

When you were a little girl, did you see singing as your profession?
Actually, no. My mother and I decided that I would have become an IT clerk. But, sometimes you've got to start from the bottom.

Which is your favorite movie?
Surely "Fred Claus". I think that Kevin Spacey was not a waste.

Your zodiac sign is Scorpio. Are you a typical Scorpio?
Positively! I'm a little rude, dynamic, tenacious and antsy. My friends say that I'm also a little paradoxical but that I think it is usual in artists.

There is no possibility any of these is Bonnie Raitt's home telephone number :

To be honest, my boss had patiently set up my short interview with Bonnie Raitt many months beforehand. Unfortunately, I decided I had more interesting things to do, like growing mosses or collecting gnats wings. So, the interview above is essentially the elaboration of a nightmare that followed after a dinner of chorizo and raw broccoli.
