An interview with Dr. Dre

Could you tell us which is your earliest memory?
I have a somehow indistinct and quite bizarre remembrance. A man in turmoil runs in the snow, then he hails a cab. He knows the cab driver, but the driver does not recognize him. The taxi arrives at a house in ruin and he searches for his spouse and his kids but the house is vacant and has been so for decads.

Well, I think this is a famous scene from the film "It's a Wonderful Life".
Frick! You may be right. Yesterday evening I had a snooze at a rerun.

Where will you go on your next vacation?
For next summer I leased a ritzy castle on the secluded hills of Brutopia. The only problem was finding a way to make a transfer in bitcoins to the cheerful estate agent from Nigeria that proposed me the business by email.

If you could choose someone to reincarnate in, who would it be?
Surely Forrest Gump.

With all due respect, you know that that's not a real person, don't you?

Which is the most shameful DVD (or VHS) in your possession?
Great Scott! Apart from "Swept Away", I fear it is "Tiptoes". One of worst choices of Gary Oldman.

Dre, some witnesses have seen you in a compromising setting with a celebrity whose name and whose gender I'm not allowed to bring out in the open. Care to comment?
I deny any "situation", expecially one with D.O..

I may have a picture.
You know, the photo is probably just an accident...

An accident? I do not understand.
Yes, accidents occur all the time. Like when you "accidentally" photoshop a photo. Or, for example, your mother or your office may "by accident" explode. Do you understand?

I was just mocking you, there is no picture at all...

Dr. Dre refused to share his home telephone number, but here are some random numbers you can dream about :
6497942405 9457349422 3168115927 2976123227 8141892914 5378837982 8805512761 5874402928 2629736476 9508445785 5877596593 667611364 2133498604 6417626960 855815099 746240214 6246880316 6254845215 9027832137 779272033
I patiently lay in wait for several weeks before being able to have a little exchange with Dr. Dre. The resulting transcription was wondrous, like it was written by Kafka in his prime. So, it was very disastrous, to put it mildly, that another inmate by accident (I assume) shredded my only copy! After I regained my composure, I made an effort to summon up those excellent words. I want to be straight, I'm not one hundred percent sure this web page is a perfectly truly report of what transpired during our talk, and I'm starting to wonder if it ever took place...
