You have been the recipient of several awards. Can you tell us what is the first prize you ever won?
At the age of 9, I won the "Plastic Bobcat Prize" assigned by the Mayor of Chicago for "notable and gratuitous singing exhibition".

Your zodiac sign is Aries. Are you a typical Aries?
Not a chance! I'm a little gloomy, a bit slothful, amenable and anxious. My relatives say that I'm also a little paradoxical but that I think it is normal in artists.

Which is your favorite karaoke song?
My real love is dodecaphony.

Do people yell your name and follow you everywhere you go?
Indeed! I dig people's mind. I make no distinction: I'm known to enchant famous heirs and hopeless roadkills collectors alike. You know? There are at least 16 streets with my name in four different countries, not counting Elbonia and Tuvalu.

If happiness were an animal, what would it be?
Probably a gopher. A big, fat, quiet gopher, gorged and dozy in the summer shade.

Elton, which is your trick to obtain unblemished skin?
It is a daily soaking into yak milk.

Does your secretary use an alias when he arranges for, say, a flight? You know, to protect your privacy and to escape journalists and aficionados
That's for certain! I'll do whatever is necessary to excape those troublemakers. We mostly employ the pseudonym "Elton Juhn".

I heard you are just back from a series of concerts in Tibet. How was the accomodation?
Actually, I lived 3 weeks in a Tibetan monastery before I got the idea it was not the Best Western hotel. In the meantime, I learnt to bilocate, for a couple of seconds.
