When you were a little boy, did you see yourself as a professional actor?
Nothing doing! My father and I decided that I would have become a critters exterminator. But, that's life.
Could you tell us which is your earliest memory?
I have a very indistinct and bizarre remembrance. There are two men, one tall and lean and the other short and rather fleshy, both dressed in black and wearing black sunglasses, sat at a table in a formal restaurant. They have come looking for a friend, who currently works as maître d' at the restaurant. The two men start making some commotion to stress their friend and force him to go away with them. For example, they behave foolishly and talk like they were strangers.
Actually I believe this is a well known scene from the film "The Blues Brothers".
Touche'! To be honest, yesterday I drowsed in front of the dvd player.
Hayden, do you have something to say to young people?
Yes! Don't let the color of your skin dictate how much of the world you're going to see. Sun block and sunscreen have been invented for a reason.
Hayden, do you have any superpower?
I can mutating into a dwarf coyote, since I was 6. Probably this is not so remarkable in tall people with Celtic ancestors.
Who were you in your first school play?
I remember it quite well. It was a play on the life of Nikola Tesla. I was the comic relief in the part of his funny cousin.
Hayden, do you like hamsters?
I don't believe so!
Why you do not like hamsters, if I may ask?
To be frank, they reek! And one hamster bite my uncle in his naughty parts. That was one of the reasons I decided to become an actor, so I may rethink my position on hamsters.
