A conversation with Lee Pace

Could you tell us the story of your next movie?
Okey-doke! It is the story of Walter, a dietitian from Sacramento. He is kidnapped by a secretive individual and he is compelled to create silly "whollY bogUs Talks" for some web site, from a hidden underwater office. (If I can't be recovered, tell Anna I never loved her...)

What's your earliest memory?
I have a clear memory of the moment I saw the light. You know, it was a day in March. An almost poetic spring day, redolent of flowers and wet bark. And amidst all the beauty, I was there, soaked from head to toe with blood, in a room full of people screaming like ghouls. The first, but not the best day of my life...

Life seems better now.
You are a sissy. My whole existence is like a plunge in a lake of tears.

What's your vice?
Laziness. I have troubles dragging myself out of bed until 2 PM I solved the problem by setting my clocks to Rohan's time zone. See, surely you are going to judge me for that. Fortunately another vice of mine is I couldn't care less.

Should you give up acting, which kind of occupation would you choose?
Almost surely that of earthworms breeder. I already have some experience in that field.

Lee, you appear to be always so sunny and cheerful. Do you also have a dark side?
I do. I think that each one has two sides. Sometimes, when I meet another artist, my heart became heavier and my teeth rattle with fury. And suddenly, I experience an impulse to delete his heckling smirk. And then there is my dark side... You do not want to face that side.

What would Lee Pace do to solve the issue of violence and criminality that is threatening modern society?
Actually, in my opinion, assigning a bodyguard to every citizen can fix many issues, but most legislators are greedy chaps.

You hit the mark in "Guardians of the Galaxy". Were you given plenty of room to mold your character?
Totally! There was a writers' strike, so I had to write most of my dialogues.

I will not deceive you by falsely stating that Lee Pace's home telephone number is listed here :

To be honest, my supervisor had patiently arranged my brief interview with Lee Pace several days beforehand. Regrettably, I realized at the last moment that I had better things to do, like cultivating parasitic plants or collecting molds. So, this web page is mainly the elaboration of a dream that ensued after a copious dinner of deep-fried Mars bars and wild boar stew.
