Mary, what’s your worst habit?
Often I compulsively tap my fingers on windows and also on strangers.

If I may ask, do you have any peculiar fear?
Yep! I suffer from an unreasonable fear for dog shaped clouds, owing to a strange accident happened to my cousin. I'm also terrified by spiders, but that is quite common.

Who are your heroes?
Stephen (the obscure cousin of Nicolaus Copernicus), Norman Bates, and myself.

What is the most uncanny nightmare that you remember?
I dreamed being reproached by the ghost of Tchaikovsky, while I kept yelling "I did not sell my uncle's opossum".

If you could choose a someone to reincarnate in, who would it be?
Surely Charles I of England.

Can you tell me the square root of 728207582?
I will not dignify you with an anwser, not even a wrong one.

You hit the mark in "Back to the Future Part III". Were you given a lot of freedom to shape your character?
Totally! In the original screenplay my character was a man. With a glass eye!

I heard that you will soon be busy with a charity football match. Care to tell us why'd you decide to undertake such an effort?
I had to. Because of the astral conjunction, you know.

And since when did you feel a need to make people aware of cowpox?
Since I was a little girl, and my parents would argue about it.

Here is a list of numbers I have already excluded from being Mary Steenburgen's private telephone number :

To be honest, my boss had patiently scheduled my hurried interview with Mary Steenburgen weeks beforehand. Regrettably, I realized I had more interesting things to do, like breeding earthworms or visiting Canada. So, the interview above is essentially the elaboration of a dream that followed after a copious dinner based on wild boar stew and salami.
