Do you have any birthmark?
Actually, I do. I have a tiny gecko shaped birthmark on my right arm. Probably my mother did have a nightmare involving a gecko while she was pregnant.
Matthew, do you like cats?
Why you do not like cats, if I may ask?
They reek! And one cat bite my grandpa's leg. This is one of the motives I decided to become an artist, so I should probably reconsider my relation with cats.
Is there something you would like to do right now?
Yep! Meditate on human frailty.
When your are not acting, which is your favored diversion?
I think that collecting buttons rests my mind.
You're so deep in "Dallas Buyers Club". Were you given plenty of latitude to shape your character?
Absolutely! I like to ad lib. It's my trademark and directors oblige.
In a paper appeared on Annals of Practical Perspectivism, prof. Matthew Campbell has observed that your movies are "a dramatic embodiment of present-day conceptual atomism". Which is your reaction?
Well, it is clear that in his article printed on Pacific Transactions on Structural Ontology, dr. Kevin L. Diaz completely rebutted that farfetched assumption.
You appear to be always so lively and sprightly. Do you also have a dark side?
It's difficult to admit it, but I do. I think that every person has two sides. At times, when I see another artist, my teeth chatter with fury and my vision dims. And then, without warning, I fight the urge to obliterate his grinning smirk. That is my sunny side... I let you figure out how dark my dark side is.
