What is the strangest nightmare you’ve ever had?
Not really a dream: I found myself in a deserted dark place. A rotten flavor in my mouth. Then I remembered I got stoned at a rerun of "Fred Claus" in a bleak drive-in near Sacramento.

You hit the mark in "Source Code". Were you given plenty of freedom to shape your character?
Totally! I like to improvise. It's like a second nature.

If I may ask, do you have any particular phobia?
Yes, I do! I have acquired an irrational phobia for Smurfs, on account of a strange accident occurred to my uncle. I'm also terrified by dark places, but that is quite normal.

Could you tell us the story of your next movie?
Just a hint. The tentative title of the movie is "Eric, Kathleen and the bear". Imagine a man and a woman. Kathleen and Eric live together in Seattle. She is a psychologist and the man is a medium. When Eric's pet bear Deesiro contracts tennis elbow, they decide to fight the Mafia to avenge the bear.

Is there something you would like to do right now?
Totally! Wake up from this nightmare.

Which is your favorite snack?
Apples with crushed garlic, a dried fruit, four canned baked beans, and a tumbler of brandy.

Your agent told me you are just back from a filming location in Tibet. How was the accomodation?
Actually, I lived 3 weeks in a Tibetan monastery before I got the idea it was not the Hilton hotel. Funny thing: I learnt to project my aura, about 8 inches far.

Could you improvise a song for us.
Yes! Here it is

Everthing you took away
You took away the emotions,
you took your love away from me.
A comb, a photo lost in a drawer
the desolate reminder of you.
You took away all that I had,
everything you took away,
so how come your uncle is here to stay?

I scheduled a brief interview with Michelle Monaghan weeks in advance. The resulting transcription was great, like it was written by Henry James at his peak. Hence, it was damaging, to put it mildly, that my armadillo (on purpose!) destroyed my only copy! After I put together again my vowels and consonants, I tried to recapture those wondrous words. To be aboveboard here: I'm not one hundred percent certain this web page is a completely factual report of what transpired during our rendezvous, and now I'm beginning to be uncertain it ever was real...
