Who were you in your first school play?
It was rather humiliating. It was a play on the life of John Adams. I played the midwife, so my part lasted about 10 seconds.

If I may ask, do you have any peculiar phobia?
Yes, actually I do! I have acquired an unreasonable phobia for zombies, on account of a curious accident happened to my aunt. I'm also scared by spiders, but that is quite common.

Which is your favorite snack?
Steaks with tahini, a plum, four loin chops, and some beer.

Sam, do you like jackals?
You think i've lost my mind!

Why you do not like jackals?
First of all, they stink! And one jackal bite my grandpa in his funny bits. That was one of the motives I decided to become an actor, so I should probably rethink my position on jackals.

Have you ever had a supernatural experience?
Well, many years ago I was crossing Eritrea in an old pick-up with a special friend. You know, one thing led to another and so we did "that" in the forest, under the stars, in the heart of nature.

Can you tell me the square root of 253958942?
According to my fans the nicest answer is something around 16.

Do you use an alias when you make reservation for a flight? You know, to protect your privacy and to duck groupies and reporters
Sure! I'll do whatever is necessary to run away from those nuisances. I often adopt the alias "Sam Ruley".

Almost surely none of the following numbers are Sam Riley's home telephone number :

I have a confession to make. My supervisor had scheduled my hurried rendezvous with Sam Riley several weeks beforehand. Unluckily, I got stoned watching the DVD of "Town & Country". So, the interview above is essentially based on what Sam Riley would have probably said if I have met him, as suggested by a telephonic poll involving a couple of random people.
